Program
Wesley Glen provides around-the-clock residential support for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) in Macon and St. Marys. Each neighbor brings their own interests, relationships, routines, and goals. Our staff get to know the person behind those details and provide assistance that responds to their needs while encouraging choice and independence.
A home, and support for the life each neighbor wants to live.
Neighbors receive 24/7 support in their homes. Depending on the person, that may include help with meals, personal care, transportation, medication and financial management, daily routines, and health care appointments.

Direct Support Professionals build the consistent relationships at the heart of this work. Nurses, case managers, and other team members help coordinate care, advocate for neighbors, and support progress toward goals identified with each neighbor and their care team.

A good home provides stability and room to grow. Neighbors make choices about how they spend their time, build friendships, take part in worship and community activities, volunteer, and pursue interests that are their own.

Those opportunities can also take neighbors somewhere new. During a trip to Great Wolf Lodge, neighbors shared an experience away from their usual routines. The trip offers a story to explore about friendship, trying new things, and the confidence that can grow through time together.
Meet Allison!
Allison’s mother, Shay, describes Wesley Glen as a place where her daughter has blossomed. Allison has long loved being around people, and Shay has seen that part of her grow since Allison moved to Wesley Glen. Their story reflects what belonging can mean for a neighbor and for the family who loves her: familiar faces, lasting relationships, and a place that feels like family.

In Macon, Wesley Glen’s 87-acre neighborhood includes seven residential homes, with four additional homes in surrounding neighborhoods.
