Wesley Glen’s leaders bring experience in nonprofit service, ministry, and support for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Together, they strengthen the teams and services our neighbors rely on while guiding thoughtful growth across Georgia.

Cameron Bishop, LCSW

President and CEO

Cameron joined Wesley Glen in 2022, bringing more than two decades of nonprofit leadership and a background in social work. He earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Georgia and a Master of Social Work from Washington University in St. Louis. Before joining Wesley Glen, he held leadership roles at The Methodist Home for Children and Youth.

Cameron guides Wesley Glen’s direction and has focused on strengthening its team, operations, and leadership as the ministry expands. Raised in Middle Georgia and a lifelong member of Mulberry Street United Methodist Church.

LuAnn Osteen

Chief Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities Officer

LuAnn joined Wesley Glen Ministries in July 2021 with over a decade of experience in Developmental Disabilities. Prior to working with Wesley Glen, she worked as a supervisor for Georgia Support Services, serving Individuals with disabilities in a different capacity.

Julie Rogers, MBA, CFRE

Chief Integration and Advancement Officer

Julie first joined Wesley Glen in 2018 and brings more than a decade of experience in development and nonprofit leadership. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Advertising and Marketing Communication and a Master of Business Administration from Wesleyan College. A Certified FundRaising Executive (CFRE), Julie has worked across fundraising and organizational development and has also served on Wesley Glen’s Board of Trustees.

Cassandra Thurman

Senior Director of Finance

Cassandra joined Wesley Glen Ministries in 2019 as Director of Financial Services and currently serves as Senior Director of Finance. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance with a minor in Management and is currently pursuing her Master of Business Administration. With more than 28 years of experience in finance and accounting, Cassandra provides leadership in financial management, strategic planning, and organizational stewardship. She is passionate about supporting Wesley Glen’s mission and ensuring the organization remains financially strong as it serves individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Zakia Gibson

Director of Human Resources

Zakia joined Wesley Glen on December 29, 2025. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Technical Management and Master's degree in Human Resource Management. With over five years of experience in Human Resources, she has built her career around a passion for people. She genuinely enjoys connecting with others, supporting their growth, and being someone they can count on. To her, leadership is about building meaningful relationships, making a positive impact, and creating an environment where others feel valued and supported.

Tommy Perkins

Chaplain

Tommy has served United Methodist churches from North Carolina to his home state of Tennessee. More recently, he served congregations in Macon and Perry, Georgia, in pastoral roles focused on congregational care and senior adult ministry. He earned a Bachelor of Arts from Berry College and a Master of Divinity from Duke University Divinity School.

As Wesley Glen’s chaplain, Tommy brings a pastoral presence to the ministry’s daily life. He shares in the joy, hope, and faith expressed throughout the Wesley Glen community.
