Wesley Glen Ministries is a Christian organization that supports people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). For more than four decades, we have provided residential and community-based services rooted in the lifelong commitment to the people we serve. We seek to empower and encourage each neighbor to become as independent as possible.
As we grow across Georgia, we are creating more opportunities for neighbors to learn, serve, work, belong, and thrive.

We call the people we serve neighbors. All those we serve live in various neighborhoods around Macon and St. Marys, Georgia. Jesus’ command to “love your neighbor as yourself” (Mark 12:31) shapes the way we serve every day. Each person is a valued member of a shared community, with gifts to offer and a voice in the life they want to build.

The difference support makes...
For neighbors - Support begins with identifying each neighbor’s strengths, preferences, and goals. With trusted relationships and opportunities that grow with them, neighbors develop skills, make choices, build friendships, pursue meaningful work, and contribute to the communities around them.
For families - For many families and caregivers, the question beneath their search for support is, “What will happen to my loved one when I can no longer provide care? What happens when I’m no longer here?” Wesley Glen helps families and caregivers face that question with a team that knows their loved one and provides consistent support as needs and goals change. Dependable services also help families continue their work, care for their households, and take part in community life with greater confidence.
For communities - Neighbors help shape their communities through work, volunteer service, advocacy, worship, and everyday relationships. Alongside local nonprofits, employers, churches, and other partners, they respond to needs they see and share their time and talents. When neighbors have opportunities to contribute, community partners gain dedicated volunteers and employees, and more people experience what it means to be known and valued.
